IN THIS CASE, Kashuu is looking for one (1) shiny new stranger in particular! That isn't a hard square, really. Find someone new and hang out with them for a day? Easy! He does that on non-bingo days all on his own, anyway. Besides, this is the perfect opportunity to cross off even more things. Two birds with one stone!

Cedric happens to be the first person that he spots, in any case. Hopefully he's not too busy because regardless of what he's doing, Kashuu's trotting on up, waving his phone around.]

Hey! ...Wait, okay, first of all - how's the sky looking to you today?

[Just in case. Gotta make sure he nabbed someone on the Retrospec network who can tell that their sky is ugly and grey...]

[Cedric was mostly just window shopping for the day.

He's been pretty slow about filling out his bingo card, but he's sure he'll get it done and wasn't in a huge rush to do so.

There's a pause as he considers the question and was going to initially say blue until he glances up and-]

[What a weird way to go around meeting people... Granted, it's not like there are easier ways outside of just holding the Retrospec app out and seeing who does or doesn't acknowledge its existence.]

[Bonding over the dullness of their colorless sky is really a weird way to meet people. When he decided he wanted to broaden his social circle; he didn't expect it in this way.]

Cedric Yeung. [He perks up a bit.] I have that on my bingo card too actually! Besides, I kind of moved here to meet new people, so this is a perfect opportunity. [He smiles brightly at the other.] I would be happy to be that stranger.

[It IS A WEIRD WAY TO MEET PEOPLE but he'll just go with the flow here because really, what else can you do... At least this stranger seems nice so far, and anyone who's down to make new friends already gets a gold star in Kashuu's book.]

[Someone who's friendly is already a friend. Well, maybe he shouldn't think that way, but Kashuu seems nice. Surely trusting the other is fine.]

Well, I wanted to further my studies too. My career made fitting time for school very limited. But people go to college to meet people and befriend them, right? [It seems that way in fiction.]

Oh! There's a few things on my bingo card I haven't done. Like cart rides at Freshens. I think I also have caroling on mine.

We can both knock out caroling, then! And maybe if we have time, I'll help you out with that Freshens thing.

[A week or so ago he might have been worried about his reputation, but considering how many other people are out there doing weird shit for bingo points, he's not too concerned...]

It doesn't say where we have to carol either, so... Mm, maybe just in the park? Like, an area that isn't super crowded. You can tell me a little more about yourself, too! Tons of people come here for college, y'know? I came back for that, too. What're you studying there?

I don't really know the lyrics to the song that we're supposed to sing. I guess I can just look the lyrics up though. [He looks excited at the idea of doing the cart rides.] I've never done it before! It looks so much fun though.

[Cedric should watch his reputation a bit, but it's all a little fun right?]

I think it doesn't matter where as long as we're caroling around. Park is fine.

Oh! I'm kind of just taking classes and didn't really decide any specifics. I don't know if that's an issue, but I already have a career in sports. I wanted to further my education. Oh! I did want to take classes in the arts though. I can't say I'm very good at those kind of things at all.

Ah, really? A sporty guy, huh? What kinda sports? [He seems genuinely interested, at least. Despite his own career path changes, he's still pretty into physical fitness.]

I'm aiming to be a fashion designer, actually. I do aaall the artsy classes, so if you need any tips, I'm totally your guy.

Oh! I'm a swimmer. I also workout, but I don't really play any other sports for the most part. [Didn't have much time except for occassional soccer games with friends and family.]

That's amazing! I'll be sure to come to you if I need anything. That might be a lot of things though. [He's...not very artistic.]

Wow, really? I don't think I know many people who swim... But you must be super toned then, huh? I hear swimming is like, the best way to get lean muscle.

It's fine if you need lots of help, too. I mean, that's why I offered, y'know?

[At least when it comes to things like design. If it's painting, he'll have to pass... That's definitely not his realm of expertise.]

I love swimming! It is very dear to my heart. I grew up with the beaches of Spain, so perhaps I am a little spoiled by that. [He laughs a bit sheepishly.] If I skimp on training and lose muscle, I'll fall behind.

I appreciate it! I'll leave myself in your capable hands when I hit that point.

[He's always admired all the designs in the fashion magazines his mother buys and he has a pretty good wardrobe. Just those things aren't something he could ever execute himself.] That's amazing though. I bet you'll do great after you graduate.

Ah, wow...! I'm jealous, I've heard European beaches are the best. All that warm water and nice sand sounds like something totally out of the movies.

[A sigh! Maybe he'd even go to the beach more often if they were that nice here...! Just kidding though, the sun is the skin's enemy.]

I love them! I can say that when I get homesick, I often miss the beaches the most.

[The amount of sunscreen Cedric probably goes through a month is probably pretty impressive. Such as the life of a swimmer.

I don't dislike them here, but they aren't quite the same. [He laughs a little.] I guess you're right though. They don't really measure up to what I grew up with.

[Cedric is the type of guy who would wholeheartedly be behind someone and their endeavors. If the other is confident and 1000% behind what they're doing; who is he to not be supportive? Actually, he'd be supportive even if the other wasn't confident. He will supply the confidence if he has to. So really, he's just supportive if that person has dreams, ambitions, or goals of any sort.]

I'm not worried at all! I believe in you! [He even gives Kashuu a bit of a dorky little fist pump and smile.

Gotta take baby steps, right? If launching Jim helps move him forward to launch other things; let him launch Jim out a window. Don't actually. That would probably get him arrested.]

That's totally natural. Recolle's nice, but some things just don't measure up.

I am glad that there is a beach though! Of course, I probably wouldn't have moved here if there wasn't.

[He wasn't super picky or anything, but there had to be certain things. A beach and the ocean was one of them.

He can be a bit naive and a little too trusting. It's probably an issue from time to time, since he seems completely genuine about it.

Right! Caroling. He opens his mouth, but falters. The words he had spoken to Kashuu were familiar. The gesture. He remembers towering over a blonde. He doesn't recognize them at all, but he says and does the same as he had done to the other just moments ago. Cedric doesn't recognize the area either. It's raining and he can see a river and bridge. He had leaped from a tower (he's sure he didn't have the ability to do that ever) and met this blonde name Link. How weird...
