Not much is really iterated about Sidon's history.
He is the son of King Dorephan and the younger brother of Mipha. There's no mention of their age difference nor their exact age. We do, however, know that Sidon was a child of some sort as he was told stories about Link. How old a Zora is to be considered a child is unknown. There is, however, a small Zora child who eventually finds a significant other in the game. The Hylian who she falls for mentions that she is wiser and older than him and we can gleam that he's of an adult age. This implies that Zora are considered children for a longer period of time and that they age much slower.
Other tidbits also indicate that Sidon is at least a couple hundred years old at the very least with the Zora monuments that are scattered around the Domain. They speak of different events and mention the creation of the Resevoir Lake; a location that was built by Hylians and Zoras together. Since the Calamity had split the different races apart to some extent, it isn't possible for this dam to have been built before the Calamity had hit.
One of the monuments also details one of Sidon's heroic deeds. A Hylian settlement called Lurelin village was being terrorized by an octorok. Many brave and strong men have been swallowed by the creature. Sidon, however, decides to travel to the village to help with the monster. This isn't no laughing matter with how far Zora's Domain is to the village. Due to Zora's aquatic nature, it's implied that they really only travel normally through bodies of water. Zoras are only ever seen near the Domain or as far as the rivers and lakes that are connected to it. There are never any seen traveling any farther than that nor outside of the water. Despite that, Sidon makes his way to Lurelin and goes head to head with the octorok. There is a moment where hope seems lost when Sidon is swallowed by the beast like many others before him. Instead of defeat though, Sidon uses his spear while inside it. He pierces through the monster and kills it from inside and puts an end to the plight of the Lurelin villagers.
Mipha and Sidon were close siblings. Sidon's own dialogue implies that he had looked up to her and had seeked her guidance and wisdom as he grew. When Calamity Ganon had returned, Ganon had took control of all the ancient Sheikah technology that were once in the hands of good. All the Guardians started destroying and killing everything in their wake. The Divine Beasts that had been piloted by the Champions were also taken over and a blighted Ganon were put against the Champions. It is there that Mipha loses her life fighting against Waterblight Ganon; her soul trapped in Divine Beast Ruta.

The entire Domain goes into mourning and also furthers the intolerance to Hylians by some of the older Zoras (many of the elders had blamed Link for Mipha's death). Her death probably had hit her people and especially her family much differently than other races. Zoras live quite long lives. It has been sitting in the East Resevoir Lake causing a torrential rainfall. The orbs on Vah Ruta that generate water are out of control as they do not have electricity to course through them. Due to the aquatic nature of the Zoras; they are quite vulnerable to electricity. It is decided by the King, Sidon, and Zora elders that they need to seek someone who can handle electricity.
Sidon doesn't take his task lightly. Through Link's own traveling, Sidon had apparently traveled as far as across the Lanaryu Wetlands to the Wetlands Stable. A man at the stable laments about the lack of women and of a Zora male who approached him. Link is also constantly stopped by multiple Zoras while approaching Inigo Bridge. All of them ask Link to meet with their Prince which means Sidon had tasked them with seeking a Hylian out to assist them in their plight.
When Link arrives at Inigo Bridge, Sidon is a top one of the watch towers that overlook it. He jumps down and greets the other. He finds a familiarity to Link's name, but doesn't recognize the other. He asks that Link go to the Domain and to help his people. Agreeing to it, Sidon will tell Link that he has to travel the path to the Domain. He also gives Link an elixir that increases the resistance to electricity as a gift. It's noted that it only works on Hylians and is ineffective to Zoras. Sidon had possibly tried to use one himself to come upon this knowledge. He then flips and dives back into the water.
Instead of waiting for Link at the Domain; Sidon pretty much follows the other. The king recognizes Link for who he is and starts to speak of Mipha, but Sidon eventually interjects that speaking of his sister does not help them currently. He also notes that Link seems confused and that they should get back to the current situation at hand. It is then explained that Vah Ruta is out of control and requires electricity, but that the Zoras cannot do anything about it because of their aquatic nature. It is then that Sidon explains that using shock arrows should appease the beast and that he hopes that Link will agree to doing so. Agreeing, Sidon says that he will help Link in anyway possible as Link intends to board Vah Ruta. Sidon speaks that he can help the other in doing so.
As a gift in faith, King Dorephan gifts a Zora Armor to Link. One of the elders, Muzu, is taken aback by the gift. Zora Armor is crafted by the Zora princess herself and gifted to the person she intends to marry. The armor given to Link was made by Mipha herself before her untimely demise. Angered, Muzu leaves in a huff. Unfortunately, he was also initially tasked to finding shock arrows and must be swayed to tell what he knows.
Sidon tasks himself with speaking to Muzu. It is during this interaction that he tells the elder Zora that Mipha had loved Link. He had been told many stories of her undying love for Link. The older Zora is stubborn though and demands proof before he will give information of any sort. Putting on the Zora armor is proof as it fits Link perfectly. Sidon is the fastest Zora and claims to be unstoppable in the water. He lets Link ride on his back and together they appease Vah Ruta together. He swims Link to Vah Ruta so he can board the beast and returns to Zora's Domain and awaits the other.
King Dorephan calls upon all of Zora's Domain to the throne room upon Links success and return. Link is gifted a trident that Mipha wielded before and Sidon is complimented by his father. The prince is a bit embarrassed and flustered by such grand words and thanks his father. Sidon than thanks Link rather enthusiastically along with the rest of the Domain.

CANON PERSONALITY:
Sidon is a kind hearted soul. The other Zoras around the Domain seem to only speak of the prince in a positive light. The Zora always seems to bring a positive tone with him and is nothing less but encouraging and fully supportive in the endeavors of others. It is almost to the point of annoyance as he can be a bit brash or too forward. He almost seems to lack a bit of finesse socially as he had approached two different strangers (a hylian woman and Link) and told them that he had been watching them. This slight social ineptitude probably due to the fact that the Zoras do not typically travel very far passed the bodies of water that lead to the Domain and that Zoras seem to be a bit of a more secluded race. Despite it all, he is genuinely supportive and earnestly believes in others. Such examples is his interactions with Link where he does nothing but praise the other throughout the game. He's also welcoming of others to the Domain. Many of the older Zoras are intolerant of Hylians as a whole, but Sidon doesn't hold that belief at all. He approaches Hylians with ease and welcomes their presence to his home.
He is young as he is old. As far as being a Zora goes, Sidon probably falls on the younger side. He holds younger beliefs such as not disliking Hylians for merely being Hylians and being more willing to seek help. He had already used different means to try and handle electricity, such as using an elixir, and knows better than to trifle with a Lynel. Instead, he waits and assists Link in a way that he knows he can.
As a prince to an entire race and being as kind hearted as he is; Sidon does his best to be dutiful and helpful. His want to save Zora's Domain and Hyrule itself is what leads him to dispatch his own knights and himself to seek an able person who can stop Vah Ruta. It is why he helps Link with subduing and boarding Divine Beast Vah Ruta. It is also why he travels away from the Domain to fight the octorok that plagued Lurelin village. He wants nothing more than to help those around him and protect his people and others.
His upbringing as a prince makes him a polite fellow. He never seems to raise his voice and always stays civil even in arguments. He easily welcomes people at his steps. Even if Link arrives at the throne room before initially meeting Sidon; he is polite. He politely asks Link to leave and even offers to walk him out of the throne room.
Sidon is a determined, if not stubborn, person. It makes him a bit pushy at times. He was very intent on helping his people and seems to not be willing to budge when his mind was made up. He argues with Muzu despite Muzu being his elder and probably equally as stubborn. Despite that, he presses on for Muzu to see the reality and to help them by telling them the information they need. It's also seen when he constantly assures that Link will be able to succeed and defeat his foes. He also speaks as though he won't lose either and succeed in helping bring peace to the Domain.
While his enthusiasm and happy nature is by no means a facade; we do chance upon a more vulnerable side of Sidon. Sidon will sometimes stand in front of the statue of his late sister and speak to it as though it were her and that she could hear him. AU HISTORY:
Cedric is native born to Spain. His mother is from Spain and his father is from Hong Kong. He is the younger sibling of two and grew up in Barcelona. Cedric grew up with a wealthy family; having access to a comfortable life since he could remember. Comfortable doesn't mean that he just got to do what he pleases though. Despite being the younger sibling; he was also the only son as his older sibling was a sister. While their mother was pretty easy going and laid back, their father was much stricter coming from a more traditional Asian viewpoint.
It is because of this, that the two children are well read and participate in extracurriculars aplenty. Cedric feels a bit more pressure from his father due to being the only son. His father expects him to rise up to eventually be "the man of the house" when he grows up and wishes him to succeed. His relationship with his father is loving though, but it can be strained at times due to not seeing eye to eye as he grows older. He, however, adores and loves his sister. Cedric loves to spend time with her when he can when schedules permit. He also has a rather good relationship with his mother as she is always willing to listen to him if he needs it.
They are well versed in Spanish (Castillian), Cantonese, and English due to school requirements for language. They are also well versed in Mandarin and French through tutoring. The extracurricular that Cedric ends up falling for is swimming though.
At first, his father tries to push Cedric to following a more academic route, but is met with resistance. The young boy of seven at the time spends much of his free time swimming or going to the beaches of Barcelona. It is his mother that convinces his father and encourages Cedric to push the boy to swimming. It is then that the boy gets a coach and starts to swim for more competitively. No one could deny that the boy wasn't talented. Even at his age, his swimming skills seemed to surpass that of his age and even those much older than him.
Cedric participates in his first swimming competition when he is eight. He doesn't place, to the disappointment of his father, but the potential is obvious. Much of his free time is devoted to swimming or training of the sort and he eventually places silver at his next competition. From there on, the boy starts placing gold and his career seems to start taking off at the early age of eight.
As Cedric participates in more and more competitions, it becomes increasingly difficult for him to keep up with his studies also. With him traveling away from Spain to compete and needing to rest after training, his studies seem to fall a bit. He nearly fails his sophomore year of high school when he ends up competing in his first Olympic competition and has to devote much of his time to it. While he doesn't bring any golds, he does make podium in his events which really launches his career forward. He graduates from high school, but doesn't further his education outside of some tutoring due to preparing for the next Olympics.
By this time, most of his close relationships is with his family or his tutor. He appreciates his tutor quite a bit, but Cedric has thought and decided that he would prefer to go to a college of some sort. This way, he could interact with people on a daily basis moreso than what he had been experiencing before. The swimmer also wanted to concentrate on making new relationships while strengthening the ones he already has. He also yearns to experience a semi normal college life. Even if he isn't quite serious about his studies.

He's also a lot more casual overall. His father taught him to be polite, but he's much less formal than Sidon. This can be due to the fact that Sidon has a royal background and Cedric is still another civilian in the grand scheme of things.
It's also his upbringing that he's much less stubborn. He still can be determined, but he's more willing to compromise or backdown. He doesn't wish to disrespect.
Cedric is a very private person. He does his best to try and not let his personal life get dragged into the public. He's friendly, but he definitely values his time to himself. He doesn't like his friends or family to potentially get dragged into any scandal of any sort and doesn't like being hassled by paparazzi to begin with. He's also still closeted. While he's out to his family, he still worries about how public would react. His father's initial rejection had done nothing to quell his fear and he's still treading carefully.
Cedric is native born to Spain. His mother is from Spain and his father is from Hong Kong. He is the younger sibling of two and grew up in Barcelona. Cedric grew up with a wealthy family; having access to a comfortable life since he could remember. Comfortable doesn't mean that he just got to do what he pleases though. Despite being the younger sibling; he was also the only son as his older sibling was a sister. While their mother was pretty easy going and laid back, their father was much stricter coming from a more traditional Asian viewpoint.
It is because of this, that the two children are well read and participate in extracurriculars aplenty. Cedric feels a bit more pressure from his father due to being the only son. His father expects him to rise up to eventually be "the man of the house" when he grows up and wishes him to succeed. His relationship with his father is loving though, but it can be strained at times due to not seeing eye to eye as he grows older. He, however, adores and loves his sister. Cedric loves to spend time with her when he can when schedules permit. He also has a rather good relationship with his mother as she is always willing to listen to him if he needs it.
They are well versed in Spanish (Castillian), Cantonese, and English due to school requirements for language. They are also well versed in Mandarin and French through tutoring. The extracurricular that Cedric ends up falling for is swimming though.
At first, his father tries to push Cedric to following a more academic route, but is met with resistance. The young boy of seven at the time spends much of his free time swimming or going to the beaches of Barcelona. It is his mother that convinces his father and encourages Cedric to push the boy to swimming. It is then that the boy gets a coach and starts to swim for more competitively. No one could deny that the boy wasn't talented. Even at his age, his swimming skills seemed to surpass that of his age and even those much older than him.
Cedric participates in his first swimming competition when he is eight. He doesn't place, to the disappointment of his father, but the potential is obvious. Much of his free time is devoted to swimming or training of the sort and he eventually places silver at his next competition. From there on, the boy starts placing gold and his career seems to start taking off at the early age of eight.

Having a place to himself is honestly quite nice! He's sure he'll miss his family, but it's not as though he can't contact them or visit home. Both of those are very possible options after all. Having his own space is pleasant. It's also just nice to be in a new place. Exciting even.
Settling in took some time and he's already gotten lost a few times venturing out. Despite it all, he's been particularly chipper. New people and new places and new experiences! He's not alone with his new experiences either.
It's early morning when Cedric wakes up. He always starts with a morning jog before a shower and breakfast. But he also gets up so-
"Good morning, Jin!" Cedric had gotten out of bed and stretched lazily before sitting down in front of a decent sized fish tank. Some people would probably think it ridiculous, but Cedric had carefully had his goldfish transported from his home in Spain to Recolle. Jin was one of his favorite things to talk about on social media and a small piece of home that came with him. He smiles brightly as he drops a few pellets into the tank and watches as it eats the food. He quickly grabs his phone and takes a few snaps of it before getting back up.
As much as he loved to stick around and watch his pet aimlessly swim in its tank; he had things to do. Another morning meant a new day after all! He waves at the tank before heading out of the apartment. "I'll be back soon!"
The swimmer was quite excited. He was going to do his usual routine, but today he was also going to go see the university campus. School wasn't something that was high on his priority for awhile with having to train full time, but the chance to further his studies makes his chest swell. It also means meeting people his age and befriending them. Cedric looked forward to that quite a bit! A chance to meet people just as himself (hopefully) instead of people seeing him in the lime light or on television or in the news. Just him.
